10" Reversible Saw
The Crown reversible flush trim saw is ideal for all applications where you have to cut close to a flat surface.
This would include trimming dowels used to plug screw
holes and trimming the length on through tenons. The
cuts can be made without any damage to the surface
due to the set of the teeth. It can be changed to accommodate right or left hand cuts.
Veritas Hand Saws
Veritas Hand Saws are a blend of tradition and technology,
with critical characteristics of a classic fine joinery saw, made
using modern production processes and state-of-the-art
materials. The blades of the dovetail saws have 14 rip-cut
teeth per inch for stock thicker than 1/2" or 20 rip-cut teeth
per inch for stock under 1/2" thick. The 16 tpi crosscut saw
blade is best used for cutting across or perpendicular to the
grain. Carcass Saws are typically used to cut joints in drawer
runners, dividers, and stretchers (the framework or carcass
of a piece). They are scaled for smaller work than a tenon
saw. Carcass saws are available in rip and crosscut versions
following the same tooth formats as the dovetail saws and
the crosscut saws mentioned above.

Crown also makes a Japanese style pull-to-cut flush trim
saw. Unlike the reversible saw, this saw has the teeth set
in a manner which will allow the saw to cut flush, on both
sides of the blade, but not mark your surface.

Deluxe Universal Razor Saw
The Deluxe Universal Razor Saw is the perfect saw for
model and miniature making and detailing in carpentry and
cabinet making. It's teeth will cut all types of wood, plastic,
copper and brass. The saw with an aluminum miter Box is
the perfect set up for all around detail work. The miter box,
with 90, 45 and 30 degrees, has channels grooved in the
bottom to help hold dowels and strips in place. It can be
used with materials up to 15/16" thick and 2" wide.

VERITAS DOUBLE FLUSH CUT SAW

Veritas gent's saws have a 7-7/8" long high-carbon steel
blade that is just 0.015" thick with 0.003" of teeth set per
side. The 20 tpi rip saw has teeth with a 14° rake angle and
a 60° included angle. The teeth on the 22 tpi crosscut saw
have a rake angle of 15°, an included angle of 60° and have
been filed with alternating 15° bevel angles so that they sever
rather than tear wood fibers. Both saws have a cut depth
of 1-5/8". For strength and rigidity, the glass and stainless
steel-filled polymer spine is molded over the blade and
handle stud. The 4-1/4" long hardwood handle is secured
with a brass nut.
