Liming Wax
Liming Wax is a smooth
paste formulation which produces a white grained finish
on relatively open grained
wood. The liming wax can
be applied directly onto bare
wood, or will work on sealed
or stained timber. Some

woods will benefit from opening the
grain with a wire brush before application. Liming Wax should
be overcoated with BRIWAX for a more durable finish. Apply
liming wax prior to using a finishing coat so that the grain is
open and receptive to the liming wax. Can also be used to

Finishing Wax
Carnauba is an all-natural and
renewable vegetable wax. It's
a very hard wax which leaves
a durable, high sheen finish.
Although there are a few applications where 100% carnauba
is used, most of the time it is
mixed with a softer wax such as
beeswax. Beeswax is a much
softer wax which has been used
for finishes and polishes for ages.
It has a much lower melting point than carnauba and is
much easier to use. Often used in various finish recipes
and homemade polishes, Beeswax continues to be a go
to product for woodworkers.
