amount of finish with a clean cloth to the

Pure Beeswax Block
Feed-N-Wax
Feed & Wax is a special blend of beeswax,
carnauba wax and orange oil. It enhances
the natural beauty and depth of grain in
finished and unfinished wood. Use Feed &
Wax after every Restor-a-Finish application
and every month or so afterwards to maintain the beauty of your wood finish. Polish all
wood surfaces to a soft luster while leaving a
protective coating of beeswax and carnauba

from cracking and drying.
TIP: It is a good idea to have a different Felt Block for each
grade of abrasive powder you use.
These fine rubbing agents can turn your ordinary shellac or
lacquer finish into an extraordinary high end finish. Pumice
stone is made from finely ground lava and is available in to
grades, 2F and 4F, with 2F being the coarser of the two. A
finish rubbed out with the pumice sequence will end up a
little finer than #0000 steel wool and will leave a silky smooth
satin finish.
Rottenstone is made from finely ground limestone. It produces an extremely high gloss. It is much finer than pumice
stone. There is actually such a big difference that the two
should not be used as a three part sequence. Use either
pumice or rottenstone. Pumice for satin and rottenstone for
high gloss. If you want to go with the rottenstone, pre-sand
your surface with 2000 grit wet/dry paper first.
Mineral Oil is used as the lubricating liquid for both rubbing
agents. Either sprinkle the abrasives on the surface and then
pour on some oil or keep a pre-mixed oil/abrasive solution
in a plastic bottle. Whichever works best for you. Once you
have the slurry on the surface, rub with a felt block. It's best
to have a felt block for each grade of abrasive. Once the
finish has been rubbed out, clean off the surface with either
a tack cloth or soft rag damp with mineral spirits. Be sure to
wipe with the grain.

To make our own wax finish, simple grate or shred equal
amounts of beeswax and turpentine in a suitable container.
