When it comes to colors, green seems to represent all of the best things. Green stands
for GO, it represents life in the plants and trees, and it is even a slang word for MONEY!
Green also represents great products like Klingspor’s GreenTec sandpaper.
GreenTec is available in either C-weight paper or 3-mil polyester film backings. The
paper version is more economical but you still get all of the great benefits of the GreenTec
advancements.
The film-backed version of the GreenTec material is a tough and durable backing that is
tear-resistant and holds up to just about any sanding process in whatever grit you choose,
from 80 all the way to 2000 grit.
It is a flatter backing to which the premium aluminum oxide abrasives are applied,
providing a very even scratch pattern. And it is waterproof, as well, and works great for
wet-sanding applications.
But best of all, due to a proprietary Klingspor formulation, GreenTec stops loading in its
tracks. No more throwing away discs simply because they’re clogged with finishes or resins.
