Sealer Aerosol
Primer sealer is for use under colored lacquer enamels. It ensures good adhesion for
the final top coat.
Along the lines of the Stringed Instrument
Lacquer are the two new Guitar Toner
Lacquers. They can be used to add
a controllable, even color to the guitar.
Starcast Amber applies the basic light
colors of the guitar, especially the sound
board. Encore Brown is used to tone
the back and sides of the guitar, which
are usually darker than the sound board.
Encore Brown is also used to create a
sunburst effect around the edge of the
guitar, whether acoustic or solid bodied.
Often, Encore Brown is used at the edge
and then starcast amber is sprayed over
the brown, in a wider pattern, to create a
two tone starburst. With a little practice,
the amateur luthier can apply a professional looking finish.

Fingerboard oil is made to penetrate
wood and dry hard while preserving the
wood's natural look and feel. Wood such
as ebony, rosewood and others, that
