Premium Wood Stain
Trans-Tint Dyes
Try our Trans-Tint Dyes. These are
liquid concentrates that are soluble with
either water or alcohol. Each 2 oz.
bottle makes 1/2 gallon of tint dye.
To make toners, simply add the dye
concentrate directly to shellac, waterbase finishes, solvent lacquers, and
catalyzed varnish or lacquers.

Gel Stains are formulated with
a combination of pigments, oils,
and urethanes to produce a durable and beautiful "hand-rubbed"
finish. Gel Stains are often used
on blotchy woods which are difficult to stain such as aspen, pine,
birch, and maple. These easy-touse stains simply wipe on with a
cloth or applied with a foam brush
(no spills or splashes). Gel Topcoat
may be used to top coat any stain. Although Gel Stains contain urethane, Gel Topcoat has a higher content of urethane
and may be used to top coat Gel Stains for more protection.

Wood Dyes provide brilliant transparent colors
that enhance but do not obscure the wood
grain or figuring. Formulas are made ready to
use with a fast-drying alcohol base utilizing the
highest quality. Use the dyes as single colors
or mix together in liquid form to create new
colors. Multiple coats of different color dyes
can be applied on top of each other for stunning effects. A clear coat with UV protection,
such as our Clear Acrylic Spray Lacquer, is
recommended for coating the finished product.

Dad’s Easy Spray is a
methylene Chloride free
remover which strips
paint, stain and varnish
from wood, metal and masonry. Dad’s will remove
multiple layers, clings to
vertical surfaces and can
be used interior or exterior. Apply with included
sprayer nozzle and allow to work until finish starts to soften until it can be removed with a putty knife or steel wool.
