With the Robo Sander™, you have
a built-in template guide to follow
that shape a sand it precisely.
Basically, this is the same idea
as you've seen in router bits for
years; a "pilot bearing" rolls along
your workpiece that you're following and won't allow you to
"oversand". It's real advantage is that
it will shape parts that are too thick to
be shaped with a router and without the
tearout and safety risks of a router. Production shops
could make use of this tool as well. Three sizes are
available, 3" x 3", 2" x 2" and 1" x 2".
