KLINGSPOR's self-adhering silicon carbide paper rolls can be used for a number of
different applications such as rubbing finishes and sharpening. When finishing
with Danish Oil for instance, this wet/dry paper can not only be used between
each coat, but can be used to rub in the oil itself. Working progressively
through the grit range, you will achieve the smoothest and deepest looking
oil finish possible. For sharpening, stick the abrasive to a flat surface, like
glass, and simply treat it like a sharpening stone. It's amazing how this will
not only sharpen, but polish your chisels and plane irons.
