4 Piece Turning

Developed for the experienced or novice wood
turner, RIKON’s turning
system features tungsten
carbide cutters that keep
their sharp cutting edges
longer than typical carbon or
high speed steel tools. After
hours and hours of use, if
a cutter becomes dull, just
rotate it to work with another
new side of the edge. Changes only take seconds. The
system includes a 16" machined aluminum handle with
an anti-vibration grip which receives any of the included
three steel shafts. Each of the three shafts come supplied with either a round, square or diamond shaped
carbide cutter. The shafts are milled with flat side and
two beveled sides for extra control on the tool rest. The
cutters are attached with T20 screws.

Yorkshire Grit Abrasive Paste
Yorkshire Grit is an abrasive paste formulated to give a fine-keyed surface
to your turnings, prior to applying your
finish of choice. The products contain a
hand-blended mix of mineral oil, beeswax
and abrasive powders that are carefully
processed together without the use
of solvents or other strong smelling
and potentially harmful chemicals.
The result is a creamy paste that
acts like "liquid sandpaper" that reduces scratches left behind by lower
grit dry sanding, and eliminates fine
dust produced by higher grit sanding.

Finial Mandrel
Finial Mandrel is a unique product
that fits into the tail stock and offers
support for the fine end of a finial.
This allows you to turn to a very
small diameter without snapping
or bending the workpiece. Included
are 3 Delrin inserts with 3mm, 4.5mm, and
6mm holes. These can be changed depending on the size
of the Finial being turned. They fit into the inner race of the
free-running bearing in the mandrel body. The inserts can
be drilled out or modified to suit your requirements
